Dr. Christie Site - Mar 1

"Dr. Christie speaks and conducts workshops nationally and internationally on how technology can enhance teaching and learning. She has conducted research on gender differences in the uses of technology, scaffolding teachers as they integrate technology in their classrooms, and the use of electronic portfolios for assessment."
As stated before, I am a Physical Education major, so technology and physical education do not go hand in hand, or does it? According to this site a PE teacher can find useful things to incorporate into his/her Pe class. Nothing addresses PE directly but with a little creativity and using search engines I think it's possible. Using ipods, blackberries and other devices are being introduced to sports and coaching. I think anything can be used, just be careful not to let the technology part overshadow the main goal of what one is trying to accomplish.
